Scholarships

CLASS Fund's Original Intent Remains to Provide Scholarships that Recognize the Following:

                • Promising students who are continuing their educational pursuits
                • Outstanding accomplishments with financial assistance
                • Promise and commitment for and to the profession
Scholarships are available to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in accredited programs of landscape architecture, ornamental horticulture, and irrigation science within California. All applicants must be continuing their studies within their respective fields of endeavor.

SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES

CLASS Fund offers scholarships (undergraduate and graduate) to deserving students as selected for the outlined programs herewith.  The application/selection process will be determined by the respective departments or each individual institution.  Each institution will be directly responsible for the selection criteria.

Nominees will need to complete the one-page nomination form and send in a high resolution headshot.  Guidelines for both will be sent out to all Universities every January.

EXAMPLE SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA:

  • Evaluating student’s financial needs

  • Determining student’s potential success in the profession

  • Reviewing student’s academic status

  • Assessing student’s community involvement

  • Considering student’s class and/or professional leadership capabilities

  • Student should have at least one remaining year of study
